Tiramisu Ice Cream

Ingredients

(4 – 6 servings)

  • A slice of mascarpone cheese
  • A cup of coffee
  • A splash of rum
  • Two egg yolks
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • Ladyfingers
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Cocoa powder

Preparation:

Tiramisu ice cream is made by mixing the cup of coffee with the mascarpone cheese in a bowl and adding a splash of rum to taste. Separately, beat the yolks with the sugar (I add sugar until it covers the yolks) until a pale cream forms. Add the first mixture to the eggs and sugar. Beat the cream.

If you have an ice cream maker: pour in the mixture. When it is done, divide it among the containers, adding pieces of ladyfinger and drizzles of chocolate as you pour. Once they are completely full, dust with cocoa powder. Freeze.

Without an ice cream maker: put the mixture in the freezer. After a while, when it starts to freeze, take it out and beat it. Repeat this two or three times so ice crystals do not form.

After the last beating, pour into the containers and add the ladyfingers and syrup, well distributed. Dust with cocoa powder. Freeze.
